My name is Maria but I am Mimi or Mimozi to most people I consider friends. I was born in Montana, Bulgaria but have been living in Dublin, Ireland for over 9 years now, so in a way I am as much a Paddy as I am Bulgarian (at least my depleting Bulgarian vocabulary seems to suggest so). I love music, I guess my life needs a soundtrack and I love film, I even fancy myself somewhat of a film maker and of late somewhat of a song-writer. I enjoy photography and do as much of it as I can, I also love travel, exploring new places and meeting new people. I can talk till the cows come home and always have a sympathetic ear to lend in return. I write as well - mostly poetry, some prose also and the plan is to soon attempt to write a book (an ambitious undertaking that has me shaking in my boots at the moment). What else can I say about myself...I guess like most people I am looking for who and what I am meant to be and often find myself marvelling at the various twists and turns that life throws my way. All I am trying to do is move forward every day, keeping fingers crossed it is in the right direction.
